Drivers Age 75 and Older

As of September 30, 2010, laws require an operator 75 years of age or older to follow certain guidelines when renewing his/her Class D or M driver's license:

1.  Appear in-person at an RMV Service Center location or American Automobile Association office, and pass a vision test administered by the Registry of Motor Vehicles or American Automobile Association personnel


2.  Present a completed Vision Screening Certificate that meets the Registry of Motor Vehicle’s vision standards (see the Vision section for qualification standards)
