Visual Acuity

For a Class D, Class M, or Class D/M permit/license, the customer must have at least 20/40 distant visual acuity (Snellen) in either eye, with or without corrective lenses.

 

For Daylight Only visual acuity, the customer must have at least 20/50, 20/60, or 20/70 distant visual acuity (Snellen) in either eye, with or without corrective lenses.

 

For a Commercial Driver’s License permit/license, the customer must have at least 20/40 distant visual acuity (Snellen) in each eye, with or without corrective lenses.
