Reasons for Failing

A customer will fail a road test if he/she did any of the following:

1.  Was at fault in an accident with another motor vehicle, pedestrian, or object

2.  Was driving in a way that may have caused an accident, or in a way the examiner considered dangerous

3.  Violated a motor vehicle law, rule, or regulation

4.  Demonstrated a lack of experience safely operating a motor vehicle

5.  Refused to follow or drove contrary to the examiner’s instructions
